Sammy's Quinceañera

Sammy turned 15 and celebrated in grandeur. Sammy's ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Rosary. The reception followed at the Rio Hondo Country Club.

I remember when I was 15. I can tell you what movies I watched then and which music I listed to. I can recall much. The one thing I can not recall is knowing exactly what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go in life.

Sammy is very different. She knows what she want's from life. Upon getting to know her, you get an indication that she is one of those individuals that will get as far as they wish. She is ultra confident yet very grounded. Her virtues are a testament to her upbringing.

I had a very fun time photographing Sammy's Quineañera.

Sammy Portrait Session II

A few days prior to Sammy's Quinceañera, we had a small photo session at Seal Beach. Part of Sammy's theme for her event is tropical. They wanted photos to help support that theme.

Tia Mena

I would like to present my youngest sister, Ximena Gil. Ximena is pronounced "Hee-men-ah". My daughter calls her Tia Mena.

We are seperated by 16 years but have a very strong bond. Or so I would like to think so...Good God, I remember her when she was just a peanut!

Gabriel & Brenda

Gabe and Brenda were married at the amazing and stunning St Andrews Church in Pasadena. Their reception was held at the newly remodeled Castaway in Burbank.

They had an amazing Mariachi and a really, really amazing band! They provided for much of the high energy on the dance floor.

Here are a few highlights...

Not sure what's going on with this guy...

Veronica & Eddie Engagement Session

This happy couple will be marrying next month in Los Angeles. Veronica and Eddie are extremely personable and have a good energy about them. I am really looking forward to photographing their weddding.

Our session started out at Union Station. From there we travelled to Olvera Street. We took some photos, had a churro and devoured some taquitos! It was a great time. Thanks for dinner!

Anyhow, here is a preview of their session...
